Introducing Influence, Falcon’s influencer marketing solution. As announced in April, 2022, Brandwatch has acquired Paladin Software, the world-leading influencer marketing tool. Falcon users can now experience a free trial of Paladin solution directly via Falcon, under the name Influence.
Below, find out how to access Influence and how Falcon Admins can manage users’ access from within each platform.

Who Can Access Influence?
By default, all Falcon Full Suite organizations (any version of Falcon other than Essentials) will automatically have access to Influence. Each user in the organization will notice an Influence icon from the sidebar on the left-hand side of Falcon, unless the feature has been restricted by an Admin in your organization (described below).
Free trial access to Influence will not be available to Falcon Essentials package users. To consider upgrading to full suite access, please contact your Essentials Customer Success Manager at: email@example.com
What Features Can I Access?
When you begin a free trial, all users in your Falcon organization will have access to:
- Paladin’s Influencer Discovery module, where you can search among over 32 million public influencer accounts across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- 10 free searches and 3 influencer reports per month. This quota will reset on the 1st of each month and is shared among all users in your Falcon organization.
Falcon Admins can choose to limit users’ access to Influence by following the steps below.
Please bear in mind that free trial users will not have access to Paladin’s Influencer CRM and Campaigns modules. To receive full access to Influence, please contact your Falcon Customer Success Manager.
Users with existing Paladin accounts
If your organization already owns a paid Paladin account, the features you can access will be available as per your contract with Paladin. Rather than creating a new free trial, users accessing Influence will be able to join your Paladin account as a new user. By default, such users will only have access to Discover. However, Admins can edit user permissions as needed.
Please bear in mind that accessing your paid Paladin account via Falcon will not provide you with free access to Discovery if not already included in your contract. For example, if you currently only have access to the Influencer CRM or Campaigns modules of Paladin, but not the Discovery module, this access will not change. You will not be able to access the Discovery module, even if accessing Paladin via Falcon.
Logging In from Falcon
In Falcon, you can navigate to Paladin by following the steps below:
- From the menu on the left, click Influence.
- Click Explore Paladin Now.
Next, a new tab will open and you will be provided with a new free trial account. If you have already activated your free trial, you will be logged in automatically.
If your organization already has a paid Paladin account, you will be able to create a new user under your organization’s account, unless this option has been restricted as mentioned below. If this option is restricted, you will be able to access your free trial instead.
Logging In from Paladin
From the Paladin website, you can choose to log in using your Falcon login information, whether or not you have already initiated your free trial from within Falcon. To get started, follow the steps below:
- Click Sign in.
- Click Sign in with Falcon.io.
- Log into Falcon using your applicable Falcon login method.
Managing Users’ Access to Influence
The information below is only available to Falcon users with a user role of Admin.
There are two ways Admins can control access to Influence:
In Falcon, Admins can completely remove a user’s ability to access the Influence free trial by visiting Settings > Users > Show Advanced > Access to Influence. If the box is unchecked, the user will not be able to see the Influence icon on their side menu, and they will not be able to log in via either method described above.
Paying Paladin accounts
As mentioned above, if any Falcon user tries to access an existing, paid Paladin account via Falcon, they will be able to create a new user within that account.
However, you can change this behavior by requesting that the Paladin team disables automatic Falcon user creation. If you would like to set this up, please contact the Paladin team at: firstname.lastname@example.org
