Instagram announced that its Content Publishing API is now available in Beta for all official partners. As an official Instagram Partner, Falcon.io is able to roll out this functionality for all our platform users from January 31.
This means that you can now schedule and publish single image posts to your Instagram Business account. Simply select your image, type your caption - feel free to add hashtags, mentions, and emojis - and click the publish button. A second later, the post will be published seamlessly to your account.
For now, direct publishing only works for single image posts and not Stories, Carousels or video. For those posts, we provide a publishing workaround via the Falcon Hub mobile app, available both on iOS and Android.
You are no longer limited to 140 characters when writing a Twitter post. We support the 280-character limit set by Twitter so that you have more space to fit your thoughts. In addition to that, we have updated the limit to the media can upload to Twitter. The new uploaded media requirements are:
- Cover Image
- 1500 x 500 px.
- Profile picture
- 150 x 150 px.
- 1280 x 720 px. (max 512 MB, 0.5 - 140 seconds long)
- Image in stream
- 506 x 253 px. max. 5 MB
- Supported image format
- jpeg, png, webp.
- Max. size 15 MB.
We have added a Download button on stock images and videos when viewing them from the Content Pool and from the Campaigns view within Publish. This small but powerful button transforms the way you use our Content Pool as your ultimate media library. You can upload stock media from your headquarters and your local markets can re-use them for their posts by simply downloading the media directly from Falcon.
Managing your Engage feeds is now easier than ever. With the new search functionality, you can find keywords those social comments that are most important to you and require your immediate attention. You can keep your feeds clean and organized by running ad-hoc search queries, for a quick glance overview, without needing to save them as new feeds. Otherwise, you can create new custom feeds directly from your search results. Read more about how to best manage your Engage feeds right here.
Remember that you can always check our latest feature releases in the “What’s new” section of the platform without ever leaving Falcon.
