Quick Report: Channel (Instagram)

Falcon provides you with enhanced Instagram metrics and insights that will enable you to stay on top of the performance of your images, videos, carousels, and Stories more effectively. Along with our Instagram Publishing flow, the Measurement capabilities will further optimize your overall strategy and help you create eye-catching and engaging campaigns directly from our platform.

If you haven't done so, start by connecting the correct channel in order to receive the metrics in Measure. Once you are in the Measure , click on the report of the Instagram channel of your choice.

You can decide the time period for which you would like to run all reports by selecting the range from the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner. The first report is called Profile, and it includes metrics such as Impressions, Reach, Profile Views and New Followers.  All metrics are total values except Reach, which is an average number of people reached per day. You can add/remove metrics from this module to make sure you only see the ones that matter to you.

If you want to see how a certain metric progressed over time, just click on the number and a graph module will appear underneath, showing your selected time period and the metric progression during that time.

The next report, called Posts, shows your Instagram content performance over the selected time period. The three types of posts that are displayed here are images, videos, and carousels (a collection of images and/or videos). The post types are indicated by corresponding icons. In this overview, your posts will be sorted by Reach by default, which you can see as both a number and a bar chart. You can sort the table by another metric by clicking on the corresponding column: Likes, Comments, Saved, Impressions and Video views (if your post is a video).

If you click on any post from the overview, a pop up of that post will appear on your screen. In this view you can see the Total Engagement, which is a sum of all the Likes, Comments and Saves, along with the metrics shown in the overview for that particular post.

The next module shows performance for Stories. They are sorted from the newest on the far right to the oldest on the far left, in something we are calling the Slider. Each story has six metrics: Reach, Impressions, Replies, Taps Back, Taps Forward and Exits. You can quickly glance over these metrics if you hover over a story. You can also see the total values of all those metrics above the Slider. Please note that Reach is presented as the Average Reach per story.

It’s easy to compare different stories by looking at the graph below the Slider, where all metrics are displayed as line graphs. This view allows you to see not only which story had the largest reach, but also how these different metrics relate and affect each other.

In the top left-hand corner, you can see the total number stories in this module, and sort them by whichever metric you find interesting (by default it’s sorted on Time).

Each Instagram business account allows for five types of Call-to-Action (CTA) Clicks: Message, Email, Phone, Website, and Directions. You can view these metrics in either the Summary tab(where it is easier to compare different CTAs) or the Breakdown tab (where it is easier to see how they performed over time).

The last report is a more detailed breakdown of your Audience. The first one shows your followers by Country, City, and Language, while the second one breaks down your audience by Gender and Age.
